PROFILE OF THE UNWANTED CHILD

 

The incidence and pattern of child abandonment in the world have not been subjected to a comprehensive or systematic study. Statistical data which could illustrate the scope of the problem, are not available.

 

Parents who have children with physical defects, such as rickets, epilepsy, or asthmas may find such children a liability.

1.       Financial independent via utilization of poverty reduction projects.

 

2.       Financial dependent from others NGOs, sponsors, donors, philanthrsopies and local and international grants. 

 

3.       We accept donations (whether cash and/or kind) from individuals corporate bodies, foundation and organizations in from all over the world .

4.       Receive grants or assistance from individuals, Trust foundations and other charitable organizations. 

 

5.       Generate funds by way of project, rent, dividends, and from investments(s) in shares, securities, charges, trading and properties.

 

6.       Collect monies and financial assistance from or by any other lawful source or means.

SOME ABANDONED CHILDREN END UP IN STATE INSTITUTION, OTHERS MAY LIVE ON THE STREET.

There are many reasons why a child is abandon, the main one being poverty.

 

The higher the cost of living, the higher the chances of child abandonment by parents who lack the means to cater for their children.
